Prehospital innovation, interaction and inspiration

The PICTA Prehospital Innovation Arena is a neutral collaboration platform and knowledge node for collaboration and interaction between ambulance healthcare, academia, business and authorities within prehospital care in Sweden, the Nordic countries and the EU.The PICTA program aims to further innovate and digitalize within ambulance healthcare through:

·network activities
·collaborative infrastructures
·knowledge and experience exchange
·project support
·creating tangible results through externally funded projects

Projects that PICTA leads, coordinates or is part of, address areas that are critical for the development of pre-hospital care, such as video support, AI-based decision support, pre-hospital data access and use, IoT-solutions, drones, as well as working to promote innovation ability and innovation competence in pre-hospital care organizations. The program is co-funded through the Västra Götaland Region and project funding from national and international funding agencies.
